I’m so excited to share this Lifestyle Newborn session from Whitestown, Indiana with you today! When the Stepler family reached out about a newborn session, I was so excited and eager to get them on the calendar. There’s something so special about newborns that really wants me to become a full time newborn photographer. When they sleep, they sometimes will give you the sweetest faces and with those moments you never want to take your camera off them. Spoiler: Callie gave me one of those special smiles.

Lifestyle Newborn Session

Callie was born on November 4th and O.M.G. she was precious. When I first arrived at the Stepler home, I was greeted with open arms. After washing my hands and getting my wraps out, I got to hold Miss Callie! EEK, she was the sweetest. Momma had fed her before her session and once we got her all wrapped up, she was OUT for the rest of the session. She was PERFECT! During the session it felt like I have known Cort-Lyn and Cameron my whole life. They are the sweetest couple and they were just gushing over their newborn baby girl! Cameron and Cort-Lyn are both in the medical field, in fact, Cameron is a doctor and Cort-Lyn is an ER nurse. So, you will see in this session that they wanted a picture of both stethoscopes around Callie. I made their vision come to life.

When you walk into a newborn session, I always come prepared with hand sanitizer, a mask and extra wraps (just in case of accidents). The weather outside was very grey and rainy but that didn’t stop us from capturing some great moments inside. We captured some memories all around the house but the most important thing is that we captured the love between two new parents and their daughter.

To the Stepler family, OMG, it was so great being able to capture your sweet growing family. Callie is so amazingly perfect and that PRECIOUS smile! I hope you enjoy her and cherish every moment with her. I can’t wait to see you continue to grow together!
