I’m so excited to share this Cool Creek Park Family session with you today! I have photographed the Justus family for Mommy and Me Minis as well as Daddy and Me Minis. When the Justus Family reached out about full family photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with them again! There’s something so special about family sessions. I love being able to instruct a family on a pose then pop off a joke and get those genuine laughs/smiles out of them. Those are the moments and images they will cherish forever.

Cool Creek Park Family Session

I know Lindsey and Jeremy through a mutual friend and let me tell you, they are the CUTEST couple. I loved seeing them again for their family session and their adorable, energetic kids, Stella and Finn. The weather for this session was HOT! It was a 90 degree day and we were all drenched in sweat from start to finish. Miss Stella had played in the pool all day long, so she needed a little more time to get energized. When she did, MAN, she was ready to roll. Finn of course gave me those cheesy smiles, funny faces, and a couple sweet moments with his momma.

Located in Cool Creek Park, there are tons of areas for us to shoot. We started out in the garden and ended up taking them to the creek and let them dip their toes in the water. At one point, I asked Finn to pick up a rock and throw it as hard as he could down the creek. As he did, the whole family was WOW’d by his throw and even he was shocked. This was such a fun moment because it was a little instructed but it gave us some great images that they will giggle about forever.

To the Justus Family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious memories for you! Your family is so sweet, and as always it was fun to laugh with you again. I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow together!
