With summer on full blast with the heat and humidity, what better way to spend it than Summer Fun with Watermelons. June was the perfect time for Watermelon Minis because this gave us a chance to cool down, laugh and also get some red faces from the super sweet watermelon. Who doesn’t like a super sweet, mouth watering, watermelon?

Summer Fun with Watermelon

This was our first time hosting watermelon minis and let me tell you, we had a BLAST! They were hosted at the photographers home in Lebanon, IN who owns a beautiful property out in the country. The weather for this session was a little worrisome at first with all the rain around us, but it never rained. It was PERFECT!

This sweet session brought together children ranging from one to five years old, who LOVED watermelon. We had a couple with red, white and blue for the Fourth of July holiday. We even had an adorable little girl who dressed for the part in a watermelon dress! These memories are the ones you as parents will cherish forever!

Seasonal Minis for a Busy Schedule

Throughout the year it’s always busy with your little ones, trust us, we understand. It can be hard to squeeze in time for photos, but a seasonal mini-session is the perfect way to capture some of those memories. Most of our kiddos come early in the morning or late in the afternoon, so then there is plenty of time for other activities.

Not only do mini sessions fit in with your busy schedule, but they are also the perfect amount of time for a little one’s attention span. That is why Joelynn Marie Photography loves minis!
